Asay's Sportsman's Store
good and bad
“For small purchases, this store rocks. However, for bulk purchases such as uniforms, shirts, etc., they are not as successful.” -

Backwoods
I would never go back
“I went into Backwoods today and I must say I was extremely frustrated. I went into Backwoods AFTER I had called to be sure that they had my size in stock. \n \nI walk in, then very quickly I realize that I had been lied too. Not only did they not carry my size, the price I had been quoted not 3 hours before was way off. Also, I inquired about a certain model of shoe, which I was told they had and they did not. \n \nafter all of this the young man who was helping me just wondered away to help someone else leaving me without shoes and without help. \n \nLong story short, I went to another place and got the shoe I wanted, in the corrent size for about 25 dollars cheaper than the closest thing Backwoods had. \n \n” -

Asay's Sportsman's Store
AWFUL!!
“I have been nothing but frustrated with Asay's since I walked in their store 3 mos ago. The guy helping us didn't know what he was doing. When we went to pick up what we ordered, they didn't have it. We went back and they gave us whatever to shut us up, told us it was ours, when we got home we realized it was the wrong size. Went back to explain the issue and nobody there could help us... Called and FINALLY got ahold of the owner and he too refused to help me. I will NEVER NEVER EVER do business with John at Asay's sports in Topeka again.” -

Discovery Dive Center
Closed Down
“Discovery Dive Center is no longer open. Has been closed for over a year now and from what I gather, there are tons of complaints about the guy who ran it. ”
