Skatebuys Horrible Customer Service & Issue Resolution “I needed to purchase a pair of rollerskates for my daughter in a timely manner. When I googled Riedell Skates, their website popped up saying free shipping for all Riedell Skates. When I was getting ready to check out they added a charge for shipping and the code they gave for free shipping said it expired 8/2014. I emailed the screen shots along with the issue. Their website said someone would get back to me within 12 to 24 hours. Three days went by and I heard nothing. I tried to call no answer. Five days went by and after NO RESPONSE, I called again. This time a gentleman answered. I explained the situation. He gave me a new code but told me the skates wouldnt be able to arrive in time for my daughters birthday. I explained that there was nothing I could do until I heard back from him and now that everything was finally settled she wouldnt be able to use her skates for her skating party. I asked him if there is anything we could do to expedite the arrival and his response was I could pay extra for faster delivery but it would probably cost more than the skate rental. I asked why my email was never answered and he said he didnt know. I asked to speak to the person in charge of emails, he said he wasnt in due to the snow storm. I asked to speak to his supervisor and the gentleman replied that he was the owner. So finally I said, I guess Ill have to look at a different site to see if they can get it to me faster he said ok and hung up. Besides the horrible customer service that was provided what really upsets me is the disinterest he had to help me figure out a solution. They neglected to get back to me in the time promised on their website and by the time I was able to speak with someone, my purchase was unable to reach me in the time I needed it to. Thank God I found another site that was willing to assist me after I explained the situation. I will be letting everyone I know not to use this site. In the future I would hope they could take accountability for their actions and be willing to help resolve their customer's issues.”
