  “It seems like they did there job so there is nothing to complain about. If rave didn't warranty it, then it did not fall under there warranty. That means that the tear was caused by the owner or user. The store went above and beyond and probably lost a little money just to make him happy. Good job to the store”

  “That is a warranty done through the company who made the product not who sold it. So if rave would not warranty it than it is not a warranty issue that was trying to be resolved, in that case it would have to be user related damage. Example, if you bought a car and dented it would you think that would be a warranty issue? (the answer is no by the way) so in that matter the store did all they could. Litigation never is a case after 6 months of credit dispute. A credit dispute that takes that long usually means that the customer is making a false attempt. In this regard the store might have felt bad for said customer and just given them a slide to be nice, or to get a hostile customer out of the store rather than call the police. in this world even though we would all like to believe that the customer is always right... when they are not they are not and it is what it is. Sometimes the wicked get what they want by breaking murphys law and hopefully its a light repercussion. So in fact the store did a great job by giving him a new slide out of their pocket.”

  “Summit Sports has been great to work with. Very Friendly staff, very helpful, and when a pair of skis of mine broke, they warrantied them for me NO PROBLEM. Gave me a new pair off the wall and waited for new ones to be sent from the manufacturer. Would Highly Recommend to anyone looking to ski/snowboard or any water sports.”

  failure to honor warranty of product

  “I purchased a rave o-zone water trampoline and slide. With in 2 days it started to deflate. I noticed a tear involving the seam. I took it back and they said yes it would be warrantied. They called the manufacter who refused to warranty the slide. I disputed the charge on my credit card and after 6 months of litigation they finally gave me a replacement slide.”
