  “I am a regular customer of Mallins. I have purchase two hand guns from them, lots of ammo and many accessories. A month ago I inquired about having a beaver tail safety put on my 1911 that I had purchased there. I was told that day that the cost would be around 70 or 80 dollars. I left my 1911 there and gave them the green light to replace it. Today the gun was finally ready for pickup. It had taken about a month to get it done. I knew they did good work so wasn't really upset with how long it was taking. I was a little concerned when I called or stopped by to check on it that know one really could tell me the status of it; but I like them there and brushed it all off. Anyway, today I finally went to pick it up and when I asked what I owed they told me the price was $216.00. I was in shock, this is a far cry from 70 or 80 bucks. Anyway, I paid my bill and they lost me as a customer. If they would have quoted around 200, I would have been fine with that, but that's not what happened. Talk about sticker shock, and I thought I was a good customer. Never did I expect something like that from them.”

Many of the regular customers are very helpful as well. Firearms repairs can be a little slow but are worth the wait. He is only one person. A wide variety of topics can be discussed there. Stop in”

  “I've purchased two USED firearms and many, many, many boxes of ammo, over the years from Mallin's.
  
  The guns were in excellent condition, (which demonstrates their commitment to not buying and reselling junk) and the prices were VERY reasonable (20% +/- of the price off the same NEW gun.)
  
  In other words, you're going to get a near mint gun with little use for SIGNIFICANTLY less than what you expect to pay for it NIB. Mallin's also sells NEW guns of all flavors, and has a decent selection of reloading equipment, magazines, accessories, and ammo (even some odd-ball stuff)!
  
  Gerry and his crew are knowledgeable and friendly too! Highly recommended family run small business.”
